|I started wearing Hoka Stinson with Sole brand "Dean Karnazes" insoles when I had PF, and that allowed me to keep running. I also have high arches. That was my introduction to Hoka maximum cushion shoes, after I'd read about people using them to deal with PF and other injuries.
Hokas are known (loathed?) for being too narrow. Maybe go to REI or a store that carries Hoka AND a variety of insoless and try out different combinations. Superfeet Green insoles are also for high arches.
If you are having a PF flare up and not just looking to prevent PF, I used cheap elastic bands with a pad called Strutz, and they provided instant relief. I was even able to do shorter runs in them with my regular shoes; but that wasn't as good as the Hokas with arch support insoles.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
